Biographical History

Hans Franke (1893-1964) was a German author. He published theatre plays and worked as a journalist. In the early 1960s he conducted research on the history and fate of the Jewish community in his hometown Heilbronn.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding enquiries for information about the persecution of Jews from Heilbronn in the Nazi era. This includes a request for photographs of several Nazi camps, of which one was included in the published study on this subject.
