Biographical History

Dr. Gerald Fleming (born Gerhard Flehinger, 1921-2006) was a British linguist teacher and Holocaust historian of Jewish-German descent. In the 1980s he campaigned intensively against Holocaust denier David Irving.

Scope and Content

Containing handwritten and typewritten letters the correspondence concerns the recap of a meeting of Fleming and Alfred Wiener, and source material available at The Wiener Library. The latter referes specifically to material on Austrian SS-member Otto Skorzeny.
