Scope and Content

Comprising of handwritten and typewritten letters, the correspondence centres on the sending of various material (books, press cuttings etc.) to The Wiener Library. Contained is an eyewitness account by Ferber regarding his experiences during the occupation of Danzig (today Gdansk, Poland) by the Soviet Army in 1945, and his subsequent journey to Berlin (1960).
