Biographical History
Dr. Heinz Dietrich Feldheim (1908-1997) was a Jewish-German Nazi resistance fighter. After being imprisoned in the concentration camps Dachau and Buchenwald he had emigrated to England in 1939. He served in the Royal Army and became a teacher later. In 1966 he moved back to Germany.

Comprising handwritten and typewritten letters, and containing a postcard the correspondence concerns various issues including among others: the authoring of an eyewitness account for The Wiener Library’s eyewitness testimony project (1955); individuals and events related to his imprisonment in Dachau and Buchenwald (1959); the attendance of public talks and the sending of books (1960-1962).
