The Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ) is an umbrella organization and representative body of the Australian Jewish community.

Scope and Content

Correspondence primarily regarding the Council’s campaign to prevent postwar immigration of former Nazis or Nazi collaborators to Australia as well as fascist activities of A. K. Chesterton and of Croatian Immigrants in Australia. The bundle includes a Council dossier several European immigrants who allegedly had a Nazi past.
