Biographical History
Dr Selig Brodetsky (1888–1954) was a Russian born English mathematician professor. Among other posts he served as president the Board of Deputies of British Jews, as member of the executive committee of the Jewish Agency for Palestine and as president of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 1946 Brodetsky had joined the board of The Wiener Library.
