Biographical History

Eric Wolfgang Zielenziger was the son of Dr Kurt Zielenziger, a school friend of Alfred Wiener, and former office manager and deputy director of the Jewish Central Information Office (JCIO) in Amsterdam. Kurt Zielenziger had been murdered during the Holocaust.

Scope and Content

Comprising handwritten and typewritten letters, the correspondence centres on Zielenziger’s restitution claims related to his father, and the sending of certain materials. The latter included a diary of Lilly Zielenziger, the correspondent’s mother.
