Biographical History

Scope and Content
Covering a wide range of topics, the correspondence provides insights into the long-term and close association between The Wiener Library and the West German Embassy. This refers particularly to the latter’s support of the work of the Library which included among others the provision of books, the covering of travel expenses etc. Briefly addressed is also a request for support for the Library’s eyewitness testimony project (1957). Contained are memos, lists of enquiries processed by the Library, and press cuttings.
