Biographical History

Dr Julius B. Weigert was a US-American lawyer of Jewish-German origin. Serving as president of the American Association of Former European Jurists he was active in the field of restitution.

Correspondence regarding a restitution related enquiry by Weigert on the fate of a certain Jewish physician from Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland) who had been sent to jail by the Nazis for performing an abortion.
