Biographical History

Hans Wallenberg (1907-1977) was a US-American journalist of Jewish-German descent. Emigrating to the US in 1938 he joined the Army later. After the war he partly returned to Germany, and worked for various publishing houses and newspapers. See Walk, J., Kurzbiographien zur Geschichte der Juden 1918-1945, Munich et.al., K. G. Correspondence regarding an enquiry by The Wiener Library for a report on the political affiliations of the various US-American newspapers, and the aquisition of a book of Wallenberg.
