Biographical History
Rudolf Vrba (born Walter Rosenberg, 1924-2006) was an English-Canadian biochemist of Slovak-Jewish descent. He is known for having escaped Auschwitz in 1944, and for co-authoring and distributing a detailed report (Vrba-Wetzler report) about the mass murder committed there.
