Biographical History

Established by Nazi opponents and victims in 1947 the Vereinigung der Verfolgten des Naziregimes (VVN) is a left-wing German antifascist organisation. Its remit includes support of Nazi victims, remembrance activities, and the fight of any form of Fascism. Due to its bias the VVN was the subject of political struggles in East and West Germany.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding the lending and return of certain material from The Wiener Library. Contained are two cards and a VVN circular.
