This includes requests by Ullstein for documents on the limitation of the freedom of press during the Nazi era (1959), for photos of the persecution of Jews (1960), and for Gestapo related documents for the exhibition catalogue Monumenta Judaica (1963). Conversely, the Library asked for portraits of famous representatives of German Jewry.
