Biographical History

The Manchester Guardian is a is a high-profile national English newspaper. Founded in 1821, the left-leaning paper is edited as The Guardian since 1959.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding various issues, including several letters to the editor by The Wiener Library regarding Germany related articles. Contained are drafts of letters, one invoice, and a cutting from an article about the Library’s 25th anniversary and the new premises on Devonshire Street it has moved into shortly before (1958).
