Biographical History
Prof. Dr. Herbert Arthur Strauss (1918-2005) was a US-American historian of Jewish-German origin. He had fled to Switzerland in 1942 and later to the US. In the early 1980s he temporarily returned to Germany and established the Centre for Research on Antisemitism at the Technical University of Berlin.
