Correspondence as a response to an article Alfred Wiener wrote to mark the 60th birthday of the Centralverein deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens (C.V.) in which the correspondent asks if he is the same Alfred Wiener as a namesake he once knew and reminisces over the time when Jewish and Catholic students coexisted in harmony at the turn of the 20th Century.
