Biographical History

Kurt Steinberg was a Jewish-German solicitor and apparently a former B'nai B'rith colleague of Alfred Wiener who had immigrated to South Africa. After the Second World War he worked there on restitution claims.

Correspondence on various subjects including: literature on nationality questions during the Third Reich; setting up a 'Friends of the Wiener Library' group in South Africa; a restitution claim of a former inmate of a camp in Heydekrug (now Šilute/Lithuania).
