Biographical History

Dr Isaac Ignacy Schwarzbart (1888-1961) was a Polish Zionist leader. He was the founder of the World Union of General Zionists in 1929 and served as its chairman. During the war he was a member of the Polish Government in Exile in Paris and London. From 1946 he lived in the USA.

Scope and Content

Correspondence on a variety of subjects including an application for Claims Conference funds for The Wiener Library's eyewitness testimony project.
