Biographical History
Prof. Dr. Karl Heinrich Rengstorf (1903-1992) was a German protestant theologian and university scholar. Being particularly committed to Christian-Jewish dialogue he served as head of numerous according bodies and committees after the Second World War.
Scope and Content
Correspondence reflecting Rengstorf's various activities as director of organisations dedicated to promote Christian-Jewish relations including regarding conferences, lectures and articles. Contained is also an appeal for assistance with the Wiener Library's Eyewitness testimony project.
