Established in 1951 in West Berlin and funded by the US government Radio Free Europe is a broadcasting organisation that played an eminent role in the Cold War. Today its headquarters are in Prague.

Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding the radio station’s Wiener Library membership and two information requests. The latter concerned bibliographic information on the Lidice massacre as well as the draft of a report on Antisemitism in the Soviet Union.
