Biographical History
Willy E. Prins was a Belgian B’nai B’rith official and chairman of the Anti-Defamation League Europe in the early 1950s.
Scope and Content
Correspondence regarding various issues including: re-organisation of B’nai B’rith Lodges in Europe and the establishment of a lodge in Antwerp; an international Anti-Defamation League meeting in Paris (1955); discussion if larger efforts in fighting Antisemitism in the inter-war era could have prevented the Nazi regime (1956); information requests on Alfred Nossig (1958) and Kurt Heinrich Rieth (1962); the upcoming display of an exhibition on ‘Life in German concentration camps’, curated by the Belgian survivor organisation Fraternelle des Amicales de Camps, in England (1960).
Beside letters the correspondence contains two address cards, a newspaper cutting, and a draft of a brief report.
