Biographical History
An offspring of a highly regarded Jewish-German family, Dr Eva Philippson (1899-1963) was an advocate and social worker. She had emigrated to the Netherlands before 1933.
Scope and Content
Correspondence mainly regarding a piece on the Nazi occupation newspaper Deutsche Zeitung in den Niederlanden Philippson was contributing to The Wiener Library Bulletin. Contained are a postcard as well as one German and two English language draft versions of the Bulletin article.
