Biographical History
Miriam Novitch (1908-1990) was an Israeli Holocaust historian of Belarusian descent. She was the founder and first curator of the Ghetto Fighter Museum in Israel.
Scope and Content
Following a work related stay at The Wiener Library the correspondence centres on the exchange of published and unpublished material. The latter includes, for instance, a request for archival material on the persecution and genocide of Sinti and Roma (Gypsies). Beside Novitch the correspondence contains several other correspondents.
