Biographical History

The World Federation of Jewish Child Survivors of the Holocaust and Descendants has existed since the late 1980s. It commenced as an informal gathering of former child survivors of the Holocaust from a number of cities in the USA. It grew into a worldwide organisation and has close links with the USA based Kindertransport Association.

The Kindertransport Association is an intergenerational association of Kinder from Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Danzig, who were sent alone, without thier parents, to Great Britain in the nine months before the outbreak of WWII; and their children and grandchildren.
