Biographical History

Agnes Kaposi and her husband, Janos, came from assimilated Hungarian Jewish families in Debrecen and Budapest, Hungary. Having lost many family members during the Holocaust, they survived the war and managed to leave Hungary after the 1956 uprising. This collection contains the personal papers and photographs of the Kaposi Klein family. In particular material relating to Erno Kaposi-Klein, the donor's father-in-law, his wife and son; also Magda and Imre Kristof, the donor's parents
