Biographical History
During and after the war Jeanette earned her living variously, first in Service, having to learn the English language, customs and cuisine, whence her hand-annotated cookery book surely stems; then as staff warden at Ashford County hospital, Middlesex, University College Hospital, London and a warden of the Girl Guides hostel, London.
After retiring to Bournemouth she ended her life at Heinrich Stahl House, Bishops Avenue, London.
