Biographical History

Gerd Ledermann arrived in the UK on a Kindertransport. He initially stayed at a boys' hostel in Glasgow. At one time he was married to Ayya Khema née Ilse Kussel, also a former Jewish refugee from Germany who converted to Buddhism
