Biographical History
Margot Kalman emigrated from Berlin to Johannesburg, South Africa, in c 1936, where she met Peter Weinberg whom she later married. She was working as a seamstress in a textile business at the time of the correspondence. She moved to England in 1960.

This collection contains letters sent to Margot Weinberg by her family in Berlin. Includes summary in English
Includes press cuttings relating to the events taking place in Nienburg to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the November pogroms in 2005. The correspondence documents the increasingly difficult situation for Jews in Berlin and Margot's health and love life.
