Scope and Content

This unbound volume was produced by Yad Vashem in 1966 to mark remembrance day for the Holocaust and Heroism, and was designed for use in schools. It contains photographs depicting the rise of Nazism; the destruction and desecration of synagogues in Vienna, 1938; the Warsaw Ghetto; Yellow Stars; Lodz; Dachau; partisans and the Jewish Brigade.
