Biographical History

The donor was instrumental in bringing about the creation of a memorial to the Jews who were deported by the Nazis, by persuading and cajoling the various Greek authoritities. He was also responsible for finding all the names of the individuals.The names on this list correspond with those on the memorial. The memorial was erected in 2001.
