Biographical History

A preface to the report by the Jewish Labor Committee describes the author, Julie Meyers, as having been involved in anti-defamation work in pre-Hitler Germany; that she was one time executive secretary of the Jewish Central Verein in Nuremberg and a member of the State Federation of the Jewish communities of Bavaria. At the time of writing she is described as being on the faculty of the New School of Social Research.
