Archival History

This collection of pamphlets relating to the election of a new rabbi in Frankfurt A. M. in 1928 was never formally accessioned. However a covering note from the depositor dates the deposit as September 1963. The depositor also explains that whilst living in 1928 with Frau Dir. Lange at Tiergarten 8 in Frankfurt a. M., he took a minor part in the rabbi election campaign. During this time he collected most if not all of the pamphlets issued by each side. Whilst many were lost over the course of time, those that survived are retained in this deposit.
