Acquisition
The basis of the collection is made up of applications of residence permits introduced during the time of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia with the District Office Uherské Hradiště and District Office Uherský Brod. In 1950, both these individual collections were transferred to the District Department of the National Security Corps in Uherské Hradiště and in Uherský Brod. After administrative reform in 1960, the applications were modified according to the new administrative districts and the core of them pertained to the district of Uherské Hradiště. The collection was transferred to the District Office Uherské Hradiště as an inactive register in 2000, which handed it over to the State District Archives Uherské Hradiště in 2001. The fonds was arranged in the same year.

The fonds contains alphabetically ordered applications of residence permits for the districts Uherské Hradiště and Uherský Brod including the Jewish population.
