Acquisition
This fonds was originally kept in the creator's record office. It was subsequently transferred to the State Regional Archives in Zámrsk and, in 1992, moved to the State District Archives in Trutnov. In 2011, it was transferred to the Provincial Archives in Opava, which led to a reduction in the amount of archival material in the fonds.
Scope and Content
The archival fonds of the Amtsgericht (district court) in Trutnov contains judicial administration records and includes material concerning Jewish issues. Box 5 has material relating to Jewish lawyers, the liquidation of Jewish law offices and the appointment of lawyers in 1938–1944. Box 25 has various records, for example relating to the appointments of commissioners for Jewish industrial plants in 1940–1941.

Files: a) Presidium files, b) Civil files, c) Criminal files, d) Debt relief office for homesteads, e) Court for handling inheritance estate matters, f) Labour court, g) Land book matters.
