Acquisition
The fonds Landrat (district councillor) Teplice was handed over to the State District Archives Teplice from the State Archives Litomerice. In 1960, it was arranged by content and office abbreviations. In the same year, the fonds was re-inventoried according to the arranging schemes of other Landrats.
Scope and Content
The fonds contains documents of the political administration of the Teplice district in 1938-1945. Documents concerning the Jewish population can be found in the following files: Registration of Jewish property 1939 (inv. No. 32), Register of Jews 1941-1942 (inv. No. 40), Jewish land property in the Teplice district 1939 (inv. No. 81), List of Jewish land property in the district of Usti nad Labem 1941-1942 (inv. No. 82), Jewish property 1940-1942 (inv. No. 83), Lists of fugitive Jews and Czechs, 1939-1940 (inv. No. 98). Sources concerning the given topic can also be expected in the following file: Renaming of companies, trade issues, abolition of wholesalers, closing trades, 1939-1943 (inv. No. 26-30).
System of Arrangement
The division plan of the agenda has not been preserved so it was decided to arrange the fonds with regard to other, more comprehensive, fonds of Landrats in the State District Archives Litomerice. The fonds is a fragmentary one.
