Okresní národní výbor Strakonice

The fonds contains documents of the district people's administration and delegated state administration, documenting the economic, political, social and cultural conditions of the former district of Strakonice. Jewish issues can be found in the following areas: renouncing Czechoslovak citizenship 1947 (1951), national administration 1947, affairs of individual companies 1945-1949, Jewish religious community 1949-1950, commission of inquiry - lists of victims of Nazism, lists of persons imprisoned during the occupation 1945- 1947. The file handling of the fonds is divided into four periods, which are further divided thematically. The subject groups from the following periods are of decisive importance: the handling period of 1945-1948 - I Constitutional affairs of the state, districts, and municipalities, II Economic and financial affairs, VI Trades, shops, industry; the handling period of 1949-1950 - 3 Education and enlightenment.
