Biographical History
The committee was established at a meeting on 21 January 1947, convened by the then chairman of the Jewish religious community Bernard Schütz and its secretary K. Schwarz. MUDr. Pavel Hochmann was elected the chairman, Egon Pick the executive, and JUDr. Pavel Thein the press officer of the committee. The purpose of the committee was to make a monument with the names of the deceased fellow believers. The activity ended with the unveiling of the monument in the Jewish cemetery in Pardubice on September 5, 1948.
Archival History
The fonds was transferred to the then Pardubice District Archives from the East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice in 1970.
