Biographical History
After the abolition of the patrimonial administration, the political administration of the first institution was centralized in the district governor's office of Mladá Boleslav. In 1855, Mnichovo Hradiště became the seat of the mixed political-judicial district office. It was subject to the office in Mladá Boleslav. The judiciary and political administration were separated in 1868 and the district governor's office was established in Mnichov Hradiště, functioning until 1942. There was only a change of name - in 1918 to District political administration and in 1928 to District office. The office ceased to exist in 1942.
