Biographical History

The acts of 1919 made the existing tax departments of district offices independent offices of the first instance for the administration of direct taxes. At the time of its establishment, the Jihlava tax administration district consisted of the Jihlava and Třešť tax districts. There were changes during the World War II, but in 1945 the original state was restored. In 1949, the administration of direct and indirect taxes was taken over by the financial departments of the district national committees. Since the establishment of the tax criminal districts, the Jihlava tax office had been part of the Brno-City I Criminal District.
