Biographical History
The first record of Puklice dates to 1318. It was the center of the manor, which was owned by various aristocratic families. After 1848, it was an independent municipality, which in 1850-1949 was part of the judicial and political district of Jihlava.
Archival History
The documents arose from the activities of the municipal office in Puklice, where they were also stored. In 1953 and 1963 they were transferred to the District Archives in Jihlava and were organized in 1958 and 1978.
Scope and Content
The fonds contains documents of the municipal self-government. Jewish issues can be found in an item from the Holocaust period titled Jewish Cemetery - Puklice 1941-1944.
