Archival History
Records were in the custody of Sorensen prior to their acquisition by the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre in 2014 and 2019.

Records were donated by Sorensen in 2014 and 2019.
Scope and Content
Series consists of a second edition copy of Anne Frank’s Het Achterhuis, or Diary of a Young Girl; the memoir Adolescence Lost, written by Carla Benninga; a thank you card; “Ever Stitch a Memory” notes and photo; a photocopy of a newspaper article; two photocopies regarding a Holocaust exhibition; copies of testimonies; current writings by Sorensen; and translations provided by Sorensen.
Accruals
Further accruals are expected.
System of Arrangement
Items have been arranged chronologically by the archivist according to the date of creation of the item. A metal paperclip was removed from Adolescence Lost by the archivist for purposes of preservation. Het Achterhuis is stored separately for purposes of preservation. “Stories and translations” has been arranged chronologically by the archivist and described to the file level.
