    1. William Mandel collection

    Consists of copies of transcripts of the interrogations of Christa Schroeder and Johanna Wolf, two secretaries of Adolf Hitler. The interrogations contain information about the relationship between the secretaries and Hitler; Hitler's bunker in Berlin; their experiences in the bunker during the last days of World War II; and the suicides of Hitler, Goebbels, and Eva Braun.

  5. Toiletry kit

    The toiletry kit was given to and/or used by the Strochlitz family in a displaced persons camp in Berlin, Germany. The kit was hand-carried by family members when they emigrated to the United States. The kit contains: a-leather case, b- nail file, c- scissors, d- brush, e- brush with handle and f- soap dish with soap. There are several items missing from the kit.

    The Schillinger and Baumann family papers document Marie and Samuel Schillinger and their children Jan and Jiri’s efforts to emigrate from Prague, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic) to the United States after its annexation by Germany in 1938. The papers document their trip on the MS St. Louis from Hamburg, Germany to Havana, Cuba; their relocation to the Heijplaat refugee camp in the Netherlands; their move to Quito, Ecuador; and their immigration to the United States in 1942.
