    Contains a copy of a report entitled "German Extermination Camps - Auschwitz and Birkenau" written by escapees from the camp (unnamed in the report, later identified as Rudolf Vrba and Alfred Wetzler) in April 1944. The report was distributed in the United States by the War Refugee Board in November 1944.

    Consists of a copy of the Christmas 1945 issue of "Über die Grenzen," which was the last issue of the publication. "Über die Grenzen" was a periodical published by and for refugees and emigrants in labor and/or refugee homes in Switzerland during World War II. The newspaper includes articles written by refugees who found safety in Switzerland during the Holocaust. The articles discuss subjects such as economics, resistance, and the "Judenfrage." .

    Collection of documents, photographs, and notebooks documenting the experiences of Holocaust survivor Lidia Gelband. Collection includes her student notebooks and portfolio from UNRRA University in Munich, post-war identification papers and cards, medical diploma, documents and reports from the International Refugee Organization in Munich, and photographs of Dr. Lidia Gelband Eichenholz giving a talk at Carleton College.

Also includes a photocopy of a February 20, 1944 report from Laurence Steinhardt in Ankara to the War Refugee Board in Washington, DC, regarding rescue efforts in Turkey.
