the dr. zarach verhaftig institute for the study of religious Zionism, the yosef orgeler chair for the study of religious Zionism and the yona kirschenbaum archive of religious Zionism are a research centre for religious Zionism. the original purpose of the institute, when it was established in 1972, was the study of religious Zionism in Poland and the publication of the writings of Rabbi meir bar-ilan. since then, the institute has continued to encourage the research and study of religious Zionism, its history and characteristics from the beginnings of Zionism to the present day.
