History

The Menachem Begin archive was established in 2000 and operates under the Begin heritage centre law, which was established in 1998.

Records Management and Collecting Policies

The archives collect material relating to the activities of Menachem Begin about his various roles in the public, political, and partisan fields, as well as personal material from the man and his associates.

The archives consist of two parts: the historical archive - the documentation about the activities of Menachem Begin in his life, and the administrative archive of the Begin heritage centre - where materials created during the ongoing work are collected.
