History
On July 11 1958 the Ministry of Education has ratified the foundation of the Archive of the Loránd Eötvös University. It is the first and oldest university archive in Hungary.

The University Archive collects material related to the Loránd Eötvös University. Currently the collection of the University Archive consists of 121 fonds of 1300 running meters of documents.

Opening Times
The University Archive is open to researchers on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 9:00 to 16:00, on Mondays and Fridays is closed.
