The Central State October Revolutionary Photographs Department, created on 19 April 1930, started functioning in 1943 as an archive of Central State Kinofotofono documents of the Azerbaijan SSR. In April 1968 phoTo documents related to the creation of the archives of the Central State Voice Record were renamed into the archive, renamed the archive, renamed the Central State Cinema and Photographic Documents of the Azerbaijan SSR, and from 1994 the State Cinema and Photographic Documents Archive (ARDKFSA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. At present, the State Cinema and Photograph Documents Archive of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a scientific and methodological center for the work of the cinema-photography documentary archive of the state-funded national archive fund.
