    Born 1907 in Vienna. Died 1945 in Ohrduf (subcamp of Buchenwald). Austrian Journalist and cabaret writer. Lindenbaum wrote poems and song texts in Terezín for the cabaret in Terezín. Transported to Terezín in April 1943. Transported to Auschwitz in September 1944. Transported to Buchenwald and Ohrduf.

    Born 1868 in Heilbronn. Died 1944 in Terezín. German professor for internal medicine. Published several books on medicine. Member of the Council of the Elders of the Jews in Terezín. Transported to Terezín in July 1944. Died in Terezín in October 1944.

  3. Friedmann, Desider (* 24.11.1880)

    Born 1880 in Boskovice. Died 1944 in Auschwitz. Austrian lawyer, Zionist and last president of the Jewish Community in Vienna before WWII. Friedmann was deputy director of the Elder of the Jews and head of the Ghetto Bank in Terezín. Transported to Dachau in April 1938, transported to Buchenwald. Transported to Terezín in September 1942. Transported to Auschwitz in October 1944.

  4. Stein, Artur (* 10.6.1871)

    Born 1871 in Vienna. Died in 1950 in Prague. Austrian-Czech professor for Ancient History. Held lectures in Terezín and was shown in the Terezín propaganda movie. Transported to Terezín in July 1942. Liberated in Terezín in May 1945.

  5. Klang, Heinrich (* 15.4.1875)

    Born 1875 in Vienna. Died 1954 in Vienna. Officer in the Austrian-Hungarian Army. Jurist. Professor for civil law. Chief judge of the Ghetto Court in Terezín. Member of the Council of the Elders of the Jews in Terezín. Transported to Terezín in September 1942. Survived.
