  1. Ullmann, Viktor (* 1.1.1898)

    Born 1898 in Cieszyn. Died 1944 in Auschwitz. Composer, conductor and pianist. Ullmann composed various opuses in Terezín like "The Emperor of Atlantis" or string quartetts. Ullmann also organised many performances of the musical life in Terezín. Transported to Terezín in September 1942. Transported to Auschwitz in October 1944.

    Born 1906 in Višňová u Frydlantu. Died 1944 in Auschwitz. Czech painter and caricaturist. On July 17th 1944 Fritta was sent to the Small Fortress due to "atrocity propaganda" together with other artists who painted the life in Terezín. Transported to Terezín in December 1941. Transported to Auschwitz in October 1944.

  3. Grünfeld, David (* 12.3.1914)

    Born 1914 in Prague. Died 1963. Opera singer. Grünfeld sang in various operas in Terezín. he also sang in the premiere of "Der Kaiser von Atlantis" by Viktor Ullmann. Transported to Terezín in December 1942. Transported to Auschwitz in October 1944. Survived.

  4. Strauss, Leopold (* 21.1.1897)

    Born 1897 in Vienna. Died 1944 in Auschwitz. Austrian cabaret artist and son of the operetta composer Oscar Strauss. Strauss wrote some of the most popular song texts and cabaret texts in Terezín like "Die Stadt Als Ob". Transported to Terezín in October 1942. Transported to Auschwitz in October 1944.
