    Fonds consists of Manes' Star of David badge worn in Belgium, as well as documents and photographs documenting her and her family's experience of the Holocaust in Belgium. Fonds has been arranged into two files: Kollmann family file and Alice Schiffer file.

    Fonds consists of records generated by staff and volunteers of the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre in the planning and administration of exhibitions, school programs, commemorative events, symposia, communications as well as a resource centre. Fonds has been arranged into the following series: Exhibition records, Newsletters, Event programming records.

  3. Yom Hashoah Holocaust Remembrance Committee fonds

    The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, clippings and publications relating to the activities sponsored by the Committee. Fonds also includes a collection of short articles and publications on topics relating to the mandate of the Committee. Fonds is organized into 8 series: minutes, committee activities, subject files, clippings, publications, ephemera, photographs, and sound. Fonds includes records of the committee when it was known as the Warsaw Ghetto Committee.

  4. Louise Stein Sorensen fonds

    Fonds consists of textual records, graphic materials, and artefacts relating to Louise Sorensen’s life in the Netherlands, some of which was spent in hiding. Many of the items are wartime records, including photographs and negatives, correspondence, paper currency, drawings, notice of registration, official and forged identity cards, and ration cards.   5. Pollák, Deneberger, Kiss family fonds

    Fonds is comprised of correspondence, family records and photographs created and/or kept by members of the Pollák, Deneberger and Kiss family, a Jewish family living in Tápiószele, Hungary during the Second World War. Records document the family's separation, internment, hiding and well as pre- and post-war activities.

  6. Holocaust Memorial Committee fonds

    Fonds is comprised of administrative and other records generated as a result of the activities of the Holocaust Memorial Committee of the VHCS. The Holocaust Memorial Committee managed the building of a Holocaust memorial monument and an accompanying commemorative book project. The VHCS initiated and funded the committee’s work; its board members at the time of the memorial unveiling were Robert Krell, Leon Kahn, Dave Shafran, Freda Kaplan, Robbie Waisman, Leon Dales, Mariette Doduck, David Ehrlich, Lili Folk, Rome Fox, Paul Heller and Jack Kowarsky.     Collection consists of materials relating to Warsaw, Poland, in the Second World War era. Records include correspondence from Komar's family living in the Warsaw ghetto, documents showing a German leaflet dropped on Warsaw in 1938 and accompanying translations and commentary by the donor.
